Hi loves. I am offically back from my hiatus and have a full lineup of posts coming your way! [FINALLY!] I've missed you so 🙂
Today I am so excited to share the newest Sigma Beauty collection with you: Nightlife by Camila Coelho! This collection lauches TODAY and was created in collaboration with fashion + beauty icon, Camila Coelho [duh 😉 ]. What is super exciting, too, is that it includes 4 all-new products for Sigma, my absolute favorite being the perfect pink/nude lipstick called "Dance 'Til Dawn."
The rest of the collection includes an eyeshadow palette [um, can we please talk about that middle row of blues and purples], a dual-ended purple/black eyeliner, a gorgeous mauvy-nude lip liner, a bronzer, blush and liquid highlighter! The collection also includes Camila's favorite Sigma brushes with gorgeous sparkly handles.
So far, I am absolutely in love with this collection. I've worn the lipstick nearly everyday since I got it, and I know these eye shadows are going to be a fall must-have. I am also LOVING the bronzer since it's the perfect shade for both bronzing and contouring; not too warm but not too ashy. Absolute perfection!
This collection is limited edition, so I definitely recommend grabbing it before it's sold out! Everything is so gorgeous, awesome quality [as always] and perfect for the upcoming fall months!
Happy Monday! Hope your week goes wonderfully 🙂
Happy Hump Day!
Is anyone else's August flying by WAY too fast? Don't get me wrong, I love the Fall and am so excited for sweaters, boots and scarves, but it's like August flew by in the blink of an eye [and the weather here in MN is definitely already in Fall mode... oh well! Bring on the pumpkin spice! 🙂 ]
Bright lips, big necklaces and bronzed skin are three things I can't seem to get enough of lately.
I am still constantly wearing bright reds and hot pinks on my lips, even though Fall is fast approaching... but I think it's a good way to transition into deeper berries, reds and purples, right? I have been loving the super orangey/reds lately, like the Anastasia liquid lipstick in Electric Coral, and Sigma's lip base in Mirth. For me, it really ties my whole look together and gives me that extra glam and put together finish.
Bronzed skin will always be a go-to for me, even into the colder Fall months. Since I have darker features, I feel that by adding a simple wash of bronze to my cheeks, I go from tired zombie to functioning human in the matter of seconds. Obviously my go-to is my Chanel Soleil Tan bronzer, but I've also been loving the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil lately, too.
Big necklaces, like bright lips, are a major "finishing touch" piece for any of my looks. If I feel like something is missing, adding a big statement necklace will usually do the trick and bring any look to life! This necklace has been my go-to lately [I actually wore it both Friday and Saturday last week!] I just love the "Casual Glam" look it gives off, and it is pretty inexpensive!
What are some of your makeup/accessory must-haves lately? I'm sure these will change soon for me since I am definitely due for some Fall shopping... but I will definitely post updates/hauls of any Fall must-haves I find! What are your favorite Fall trends?! 🙂
Mascara is one makeup item that I always need to have on, and always need to carry with me. Over the years, I've found ones that I like, use for a while, but always am on the hunt for that one mascara that works best for me. When I got the new Structural Lashes c/o Sigma Beauty, I new I had found exactly what I've been looking for!
These mascaras genius. Sigma developed one amazing, smudge-proof, long wearing formula, and three different wands to fit the needs of any lash lover out there! From top to bottom in the photo above, we have Sinuosity Lash for curling, Monumental Lash for volume, and High Caliber Lash for length.
Which is my favorite, you ask? I honestly can't choose. They're all that amazing and work great for different things! On more casual days, I love Sinuosity Lash because it just gives my lashes that perfect curl and separation. For more glam days, I go for Monumental because it gives that extra thickness and volume. And I always use High Caliber on my lower lashes (works great because it's the smallest wand), and also when I want to blend my natural lashes in with falsies! So you can ask me to choose all you want, but my answer is simple: I need all three. [And Sigma has actually bundled them for those of us who can't decide! You can get all three at a 20% discount!!]
Pink will forever be one of my favorite colors... so fun and girly! It also is a summer color essential, and I am trying to hold onto every last second of summer I can get! I've pulled some of my favorite pink items to share with you today because it's Wednesday, and you know what we wear on Wednesdays!
The original Beauty Blender is a classic pink beauty item that is a makeup kit essential.
The light Elf Blush Palette is my go-to pink blush this summer with its range of pink and warm toned shades!
Sigma's Superb Shimmer Cream, although not super duper pink, is a gorgeous pink-toned cream highlight that has made an appearance on my cheekbones all summer.
My go-to pink lip color is MAC Embrace Me liner topped with Girl About Town. The epitome of a girly hot pink! Sadly, Embrace Me was limited edition, but check out Talking Points - looks like almost and exact match!
And of course, my beloved pink Kate Spade iPad cover! [similar] I love this cover so much, not only because it's my favorite color, but it's also so durable!
What are some of your pink favorites?! Happy Wednesday!
One of my all-time favorite eye shadow palettes is, without a doubt, Sigma Warm Neutrals! I've been playing around with this palette a lot over the past week or so, and I have been falling even more love. It has every shade you'll ever need.
What I've been especially loving is the pinky and purpley colors paired with a warm brown in the crease. It really warms up your whole look and is great to wear for any ocassion! [Also a great palette to transition into the fall months!] Pair this palette with some berry cheeks, mauvy pink lips, and you are a Warm Neutrals bombshell!
Have you tried this palette? Let me know your thoughts!
I also want to quickly apologize for being so MIA last week. Some [exciting] changes have been happening recently which have taken up a lot of my time, but I will be getting back to a regular blogging schedule soon! 🙂
